Lord, we desire You to be the center of our lives. Christ-followers want to do Your will to further the Kingdom of Heaven here, but You knew we needed help. Knowing we could not figure it out on our own, You gave us the Holy Spirit to open our understanding to these guidelines to know Your will. Your brother James wrote so eloquently: “But the wisdom [to know Your will] from above is first of all ‘pure,’ then ‘peaceable,’ ‘gentle,’ ‘accommodating,’ ‘full of mercy and good fruit,’ ‘impartial,’ and ‘sincere’” (James 3:17). Implementing these virtues to all incidents, situations, interactions, and events will lead us to fulfill Your will, Lord. In the coming few days, give us new revelations of Your will as we explore deeper these values You instituted. We want to please You, Lord.
