Lord, when life is going well, the skies are blue, the sun is shining, and birds are singing, I like to think I’m Super Christian, strong and can handle anything, anytime. But when trials are allowed to come against me, I’m forced to face my weakness. I need a divine strength if I’m to trust You in all circumstances. In this fallen world, many things are more than I can handle. The enemy of my soul tempts me to panic, to compromise if things are not going as I planned. Only You, Lord, can strengthen me to stay grounded in faith, especially when I don’t understand Your workings (Romans 8:28). May all who call You Lord and Savior never get to the point we think we can handle life without Your guidance.
Trusting You in all circumstances, Jesus, amen.
