Good morning, Jesus.
Lord, we continue our boldness of faith, to speak the authority You have been given in heaven and on earth (Matthew 28:18). Your power is greater than cocaine, heroin, crack or any drug addiction. All must bow before You in surrender. By Your authority, we pray freedom from the destructive addictions for our children, spouses, loved ones—anyone trapped by this crusade of death and despair. We release the Holy Spirit to do His work in their lives, transforming the prisoner of addiction into the freedom fighter for righteousness as those whom You have set free (John 8:36). You came to change hearts and set the captive free (Luke 4:18). And the grace that rescued the drug addict is the same grace that will protect our children and loved ones from drug addictions. In Jesus authority!
And that same grace that shields us from destructive addictions and habits will also shield and sustain us from the turmoil in our nation’s capital. Our trust is in You, Lord God, and not in man. We pray not our will, but Your will is done, Lord.
In Jesus authority and power, so be it Lord. Amen.
