Good morning, Jesus.
Lord, I have to live with me in this broken world 24/7. These spiritual battles are real, but just think how much more I could do for You if You just eliminate all my flaws. Obedience will be a snap. My sin issue will no longer be an issue. Temptations will never again cause me to stumble. I could stomp the devil like he has never been stomped before. Isn’t that a good idea, Lord? “No, it’s not!” You say. “I didn’t create a robot. I created you in my image. I gave you My same power of reason and logic, so your choices amid trials either strengthen your faith or set you back. You must understand — I allow these trials. Trusting Me with your problems helps you become a more faithful child of God. And by the way. I stomped Satan like he had never been stomped before when God the Father resurrected Me from the grave on Easter Sunday.”
Thankful You created me in Your image, Lord. Amen.
