Good morning, Jesus.
Lord, regardless if I feel good or I’m in a bad mood, Your mandate to praise You in all things is not cancelled. By Your Spirit we’re able to not worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done (Philippians 4:6). So who am I to withhold worship from You? When I list Your blessings, worshipping becomes joyful—You’ve forgiven all my sins, healed my physical and spiritual maladies, redeemed me from a hopeless, meaningless life, and showered me with the love and compassion I’ve sought all my life but eluded me. These blessings have renewed my enthusiasm for life (Psalm 103). Life is good. You, God are good. Living so blessed, I can’t help but praise You in all things!
May we never forget the events that transpired on December 7, 1941, when all the world was plunged into darkness when the Empire of Japan attacked the U S fleet at Pearl Harbor. Lord, may we never have such a catastrophic event be the cause of us uniting as a people. Bring us together again through Your Spirit and may we have humble, repentant hearts. This division has ripped us apart where only You can heal and unite us. Be merciful to Your people, Lord God.
Living in Your blessings, Lord, Amen.
