Good morning, Jesus.
Lord, when I consider the impact of my redemption by Your cross and Your grace extended to me when none was deserved, how can I act other than with humility? You are the one who gave me hope and a future? The results derived from self-help books and videos depend on our own efforts to bring personal improvements. Self-made happiness is fleeting. However, the godly contentment, peace and meaning in life Your followers live in comes only after committing to follow You. Before coming to You, the secular world told us repeatedly living for You is boring and repressive. Who wants to be a Christ-followers since they have no fun in life? Nothing is further from the truth. Life isn’t always fair, but God is good. When unbelievers’ lives fall apart and they have no answers, You’re faithful to always be there, offering Your grace and forgiveness. You are what they are looking for. Jesus, real life is found in You.
Thank You for giving each of Your followers a purpose and meaning in this life, Jesus. Amen.
