Lord, secular society is quick to label people by their failures. No matter how much self-improvement they undergo, their past is never forgotten. The stains of their past mistakes are never erased. Not so for Christ-followers. In the Kingdom of God, all who have placed their faith in Christ, our past failures and sins do not identify who we are. According to Your Word, 2 Corinthians 5:17 clearly states “Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun.” I’ll take a moment and let this great truth sink into my spirit. The enemy of our soul uses any lie or unfair method to remind us of past transgressions. May we confidently remind the devil our identity is found in You, meaning we no longer have a past—we have now a meaningful God-destined future with You.
Bless and protect those on the front lines battling the covin-19. We pray this virus is eradicated from the earth. Bless and protect first responders, police, firefighters, and emergency personnel. Bless and protect our men and women in uniform around the world. May we always show our appreciation to all who serve us.
Thankful to live as a new creation by the power of God and in Christ Jesus. Amen.
