Good morning Jesus
Lord, we thank You for blessing us so America can be a blessing to the world. May we never make apologies for Your blessings and grace upon us. The Pilgrims sought a country where they could worship freely, and our founding fathers called upon You for wisdom and guidance through biblical values. The world can count on America’s help when catastrophes strike anywhere in the world. The liberties and freedoms guaranteed to its citizens are still the envy of the world, but today, Lord, we’re broken. America wanders from the paths of righteousness far too often. As a nation, and individually, may we repent of our ungodly ways and return to living and governing by Your values. Only then can America live up to her God-given destiny. As Your endless truth declares, “Godliness makes a nation great, but sin is a disgrace to any people” (Proverbs 14:34).
Praying for God’s grace and godliness to reign in our country again. Amen.
