Good morning, Jesus.
We’re thankful, Lord, that You are forgetful. If You chose to remember everything we did, where would we be? Up that well-known creek, not only without a paddle, but worse, without hope! King David knew the extent of Your grace when he penned his heartfelt song of redemption—If You, Lord, kept a record of [our] sins, Lord, who could stand? But with You there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve You (Psalm 130:3–4). Thank You for Your forgiveness time and again. Your grace has transformed our hearts and we belong to You forever. But we are stuck in this broken world, and our soul still struggles with those sins that remain after we come to You for salvation. Help us yield in obedience to the leading of Your Spirit, so that these stubborn sins, one by one, will fall away. By Your power, keep us strong in our faith, knowing Your help is always on the way in our times of weakness. Our prayer is to be useful in the kingdom of God as we follow You here. Since Your grace has given us a new, clean record, show us how to reach others in our world for You.
Living by grace with a clean record, Jesus. Amen.
so thankful for His grace directed toward us. xxoo
