Good morning, Jesus.
Your guidance as how to know and follow Your will has been clearly revealed in Your Word, Lord God. But the wisdom from above is first and foremost pure, then peaceable, gentle, accommodating, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere (James 3:17).
Living in Your will demands that I deny my carnal desires that harbor false, impartial impression of others. Flippantly judging others without knowing what You are trying to do in their lives hinders me from doing Your will. My judgmental attitude blocks what You want to do in me and keeps me stumbling in my walk of faith. And I wonder why I make the same mistakes repeatedly. You’re faithful to pick me up, dust me off, straighten my cap and tell me to pay attention! Help me be willing to allow Your Spirit to purge any un-Christlike attitudes or behaviors from my soul so that I will be impartial when interacting with others. May my love for You and others be sincere, as Your love is. My prayer is all my motives are pure, that I honor You by my actions and attitude. Let my life point others to Your gospel of redemption from sin through Your Son Jesus’ sacrifice, burial and resurrection.
Praying we will love sincerely and impartially.
In Jesus’ name, amen
